Clenoa

Privacy Policy

Effective October 19, 2026

In short: Clenoa checks your photos, videos and contacts on your device and never uploads them. There are no accounts, ads, analytics or tracking. The only information that leaves your device is what's needed to sell and verify subscriptions, handled by Apple and RevenueCat.

This policy covers the Clenoa: Storage Cleaner app for iPhone and iPad (“Clenoa”), made by Burak Gokyuz (“we”). If you have questions, write to brkgkyz@gmail.com.

Photos and videos

With your permission, Clenoa reads your photo library to find duplicates, similar shots, blurry photos, screenshots, large videos and Live Photos. All of this analysis happens on your device. Your photos and videos are never uploaded, and we never see them.

To avoid checking the same photo twice, Clenoa stores the results of its analysis (such as image fingerprints, sharpness scores and file sizes) and your choices (items you keep, and your swipe decisions) in the app's storage on your device.

Clenoa only deletes photos or videos after you confirm in Apple's dialog. Deleted items go to the Photos app's Recently Deleted album, where you can recover them for 30 days.

When you compress a video or turn a Live Photo into a still photo, the work is done on your device. If the original is stored only in iCloud, Apple's Photos framework downloads it from iCloud; Clenoa asks first when you're on cellular data.

Contacts

If you open the Contacts section and give permission, Clenoa reads your contacts on your device to find duplicates and contacts with no phone number or email. Your contacts are never uploaded.

Before every change, Clenoa saves a backup of your contacts as a file in the app's storage on your device. It leaves your device only if you share it yourself, for example with AirDrop or to the Files app. Clenoa keeps the last 10 backups.

Notifications

If you turn on the weekly reminder, Clenoa schedules it on your device. The counts in the reminder (such as new screenshots) are worked out on your device.

Subscriptions and purchases

Payments are processed by Apple. We never receive your name, email address or payment details from Apple.

We use RevenueCat, Inc. to manage subscriptions. When you open Clenoa or make a purchase, the RevenueCat software in the app sends RevenueCat information about your purchases (such as which plan you have, its price and currency, and when it renews or ends), an anonymous random ID created by the app, and basic technical information sent with any internet request (such as the app version, the iOS version, your device's language and region, and your IP address). This is used only to check whether you have Premium and to restore it on your devices. The anonymous ID isn't linked to your name, email or Apple Account. See RevenueCat's privacy policy and Apple's privacy policy.

What we don't do

Clenoa has no accounts, advertising, analytics, or tracking across apps and websites, and no third-party software other than RevenueCat. We don't sell or share your information.

Keeping and deleting your data

Everything Clenoa stores on your device is deleted when you delete the app. Contact backups you've shared stay wherever you saved them. RevenueCat keeps purchase records for as long as needed to provide your subscription and meet legal obligations. To ask for your purchase records to be deleted, or for a copy, email us. Because there are no accounts, we may ask you for a purchase receipt from Apple to find them.

Children

Clenoa isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from children.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example, in the European Union, the United Kingdom or Türkiye), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, or to object to how it's used. Email us and we'll respond within 30 days.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll post the new version here with a new effective date.
